Charlie Reader

Charlie Reader is a writer and filmmaker who splits his time across London and Barcelona. Having cut his teeth in music videos and branded content, he turned his hand to writing and narrative. His debut short, Everything You Didn't Say (2019) stars Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) and Christian Cooke (Cemetery Junction), co-written with Peter Fellows (Death Of Stalin, VEEP). Currently doing the festival circuit, it has been tipped as a hot new short by a Director to watch.

Most recently, Charlie was nominated at the 2018 UKMVA’s, whilst Everything You Didn't Say won the Audience Award at the European Independent Film Festival in Paris as well as The Luigi Malerba Award for Best Short Film Screenplay at the Parma International Music Film Festival in Italy. The film has been selected for many more festivals including Madrid International and the BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica 2019.

Charlie is currently working on a number of exciting scripted projects, including his first feature. Represented for film and commercials in the UK by COMPULSORY, and Zoe Wheeler for Music Videos.
