Charlie Reader is a writer and filmmaker who splits his time across London and Barcelona. Having cut his teeth in music videos and branded content, he turned his hand to writing and narrative. His debut short, Everything You Didn't Say (2018) stars Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) and Christian Cooke (Cemetery Junction), co-written with Peter Fellows (Death Of Stalin, VEEP). Currently doing the festival circuit, it has been tipped as a hot new short by a Director to watch.

In whichever form his work manifests, Charlie likes to experiment with narrative form and study the intricacies of the human condition. Whether through touching sincerity or comic cynicism, he aims to question, confront, and provoke.
Most recently, Charlie was nominated at the 2018 UKMVA’s, whilst Everything You Didn't Say won the Audience Award at the European Independent Film Festival in Paris.  Charlie is currently working on a number of exciting scripted projects, including his first feature.

Represented for film and commercials in the UK by COMPULSORY, and Zoe Wheeler for Music Videos.
